Release of Liability and Acceptance of Risk
Storm chasing is inherently dangerous and ALWAYS involves risk of injury, death or loss of property. Hazards including tornadoes, lightning, hail, high winds, debris, flooding, hydro planing, and motor vehicle accidents pose serious threats to anyone conducting a "chase." Those who wish to conduct any activity near a storm or hazardous condition do so at their own risk. Upon accessing any of our pages, the viewer agrees to hold harmless the NASCAS and all NASCAS sponsors, owners, heirs, assigns and agents from any and all liability and responsibility for any injury, death or loss of property caused by any form of storm chasing activity. The viewer understands and agrees our pages are for entertainment, commercial, educational, safety promotions and public relations purposes only. We do not promote the inexperienced chasing of any weather condition. We do not provide any storm chasing forecasting data or instruction. The visitors or members of the NASCAS pages agree and understand there are several websites on the Internet providing current storm chase forecasts and techniques designed to assist individuals in storm chasing.
